On Monday I added a new TV category to my blog to cover the ongoing writer’s strike and to have an excuse to talk about all of my favorite shows.

On Tuesday I added a daily Broadcast News segment (see second installment below) for those of you that want to follow all of the changes that are happening so quickly in our industry at this time of media convergence.

Today, Wednesday, I’m adding a new Gifts category to my blog with the purpose of posting one new gift idea each day (Mon-Fri) till the end of the year. I’m specifically going to be looking for items that are a bit off the beaten path, so you won’t find any mention of iPods or iPhones or any other trendy gizmos covered by the mainstream media. Instead, I’m going to be highlighting cool gifts that I think other gadget geeks like me (who already have more iPods and iPhones than they need) might find interesting and fun. I actually started on this path inadvertently last week with my mention of the awesome Atari Flashback 2.0, but you’ll find my first official post in this new Gifts category below.
