Photoshop For iPhone video
Posted on: September 25, 2007A couple of weeks back at the Adobe Keynote at PhotoshopWorld Las Vegas, we ran a spoof of the Apple iPhone demos. Specifically, we made a joke of the premise “What if Photoshop came out as an app for the iPhone?” The really funny part is that we put John Loiacono’s head (SVP of Adobe Creative Solutions Business Unit) on the body of the iPhone guy and then dubbed in Scott Kelby’s voice speaking on his behalf. JohnnyL (as he likes to be called) was the keynote speaker for the event… so we used this fake ad as his intro for the keynote! It was hilarious and he never saw it coming. (Scott and John usually have running gags for each other during the keynote.)
Even though I’m the Director of the Keynote, I had absolutely NOTHING to do with the development of this brilliant spoof (which is probably why it came out so well!) All of the credit goes to Jason Scrivner and Scott Kelby (and a lot of other NAPP staff who gave their input along the way). All I had to do was just call the video cue at the right moment and then sit back and laugh with the other 3,000 people that were in attendance that morning. ![]()
