Here’s my general advice for what to buy (or not buy) on Black Friday this year:

1. Buy yourself a GPS unit. They have ridiculous deals on them this year.
2. Don’t kill yourself trying to get the Poloroid LCD TV specials from Walmart. Those actually go on sale a lot.
3. Don’t bother with point-and-shoot digital cameras this year. You’ll get as good a deal online after Black Friday.
