I’ve got a pretty busy schedule the next 2 weeks as I’ll be at 3 major industry tradeshows back-to-back-to-back.

This coming Monday and Tuesday (Jan. 21-22) I’ll be at the Video 08 show in Orlando at the beautiful 42-acre Wyndham Orlando Resort. I’ll be in the Adobe booth doing demos and answering questions about the CS3 Production Premium suite. If you’re at the show or live in the nearby area, make sure you come by and say high. And look for more on the specifics of the show here on my blog next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The following Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Jan. 29-31) I’ll be at the WEVA Winter conference taking place in Las Vegas. Specifically, I’ll be doing 2 sessions on Photoshop CS3 Extended for Wedding Videographers, but I also plan on checking out other sessions at the show as this market segment is moving to HD in a big way. The show has a great reputation of teaching people the “business” of video and being the first place to see new money making ideas in action. Then on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 1-2) I’ll be at the PMA 08 show taking place at the Las Vegas Convention center. I’m there to meet with several companies under NDA to look at new “display technologies”. I’m not sure what that means, but it does show that PMA is transitioning itself from a show where you buy paper and printer supplies to a show that wants to focus on all aspects of the Imaging arena. There are even a number of show floor demonstrations specifically for videographers including an HD Camcorder Shootout, a Mock Bridal Show, iPhone and iPod video demo reel techniques, and a lot more.
