4.3 million connections added to me in 24 hours on Linked IN!

This week I experimented with some Web 2.0 strategies involving the social networks. I mostly focused on the Linked IN site and had some very good results. In a little over 24 hours I was able to add 4.3 million people as connections to me (across all 3 levels). I even took a screenshot so that my friends wouldn’t think I was lying. :-)

Of course, this is a far cry from being able to monetize these connections into any kind of meaningful business relationships… but it’s a start!

  1. Hey Rod,
Isn’t that sort of like the shampoo commercial where everyone tells two friends, and so on, and so on? I have been pushing my content out to Digg and StumbleUpon lately to increase readership but not to the 4.4 million that you have. Let me know how this works out.

    Jeff
